Abstract

Uterine balloon tamponade (Bakri Balloon, BB) represents a common modality used for the management of postpartum hemorrhage (PPH). Recently, a novel intrauterine vacuum induced hemorrhage control device (Jada System, JS), has also been demonstrated as an effective treatment option for PPH. We set out to compare maternal outcomes of BB versus JS in the management of primary PPH.
