Abstract

In coke production, there is considerable dust content in the production buildings for batch delivery and coke sorting. Existing hydraulic dust-removal systems are uneconomical, since they consume considerable water and require slurry disposal. Therefore, vacuum dust-removal systems are more promising. The introduction of such systems at coke plants is a new focus of the environmental-protection department at Giprokoks.
