Abstract

Lambs vaccinated either intraperitoneally with early fourth stage larvae or orally with infective larvae of Nematodirus spathiger proved equally resistant to oral challenge infection. Resistance to reinfection could not be related to the presence in serum of precipitating or haemagglutinating antibody against early fourth stage larvae.
