METHODS: The technique to be used is chosen prior to skin incision. After penile disassembly, the the glans is reconstructed to form the clitoris, based on the corona. The tissue used to construct the clitoral hood and labia minora differs by technique, and the decision to use one technique or the other is based on patient anatomy. RESULTS: We demonstrate two techniques and their post-operative results. We chose the preputial skin clitoroplasty for all uncircumcised patients and patients with adequate penile skin, both distal to and proximal to the circumcision scar. We chose the urethral flap clitoroplasty technique for circumcised patients with penile skin insufficient for the preputial skin technique. CONCLUSIONS: These two techniques for clitoroplasty provide surgical options adaptable to individual anatomy.
