Abstract
Puslu Kitalar Atlasi , that Ihsan Oktay Anar's first novel, is a novel written by the techniques of the postmodern narrative. The work of Uzun Ihsan Efendi, who lived in the seventeenth century in Istanbul, was taken as a novel and loaded with fantastic elements. These elements, which are a general characteristic of Anar's novels, stand before us as a distinctive structural element from the first novel to the last novel. Many studies on Anar's novels have been gathered around the general description of depictions such as the identification of the fantastic elements and the determination of the elements of postmodern fiction. But on the other hand, little has been said about the use of language in the novelist's novels or the formation of the structural features of his novel. In particular, the use of language and its monological structure, which can be shown as a characteristic feature of the language of Ihsan Oktay Anar, are not emphasized. However, the most important part of the artist's novel is his use of language and this structural feature is the feature of the arbitration that has been designed. In this paper, Ihsan Oktay Anar's novel of the Puslu Kitalar Atlasi will be analyzed around the monological discourse of Mikhail Bakhtin and the structure revealed by monological discourse will be examined.
