Abstract

In this chapter, we investigate the problem of UV illumination in nonchain electric discharge HF lasers. For this purpose, we studied the influence of UV illumination on stability and uniformity of SSVD in working mixtures of HF lasers for the values of the discharge current duration and energy deposition varying over a wide range.
