Abstract
The article discusses the similarities and differences between the stories of Uvais Karani in the works of Fariduddin Attar and Alisher Navoi. It should be noted that information about Uvais Karani is given more in ‘Tazkiratul Avliya’ than in ‘Nasayimul Muhabbat’. There are even comments that Alisher Navoi himself could find more information about Uvais Karani in ‘Tazkiratul Avliy’ then in ‘Nasaymul Muhabbat’.
