Abstract

Enhanced UV absorption (a = 4.4 fold) and fluorescence emission (k = 4.6 fold) was observed in the case of Ciprofloxacin on complexation with Betacyclodextin (1 : 1 M). This could enhance the precession in the analysis ofCiprofloxacin in formulations or biological samples for bio-availability studies.
