Abstract

Background: With the development of duty hour restrictions and increased demands on resident education, pediatric residents spend less time in the neonatal ICU (NICU) and, specifically, the delivery room (DR). Despite decreased training, many community pediatricians continue to cover well-baby nurseries and DRs.
