Abstract

1. The application of the basic relationships of the measurement information theory make it possible to obtain a combined evaluation of the string frequency transducers' quality. 2. The utilization of the power sensitivity threshold ensures objective recommendations in selecting string transducers' parameters. 3. The efficiency of string transducers rises with the raising of the ratio of the elasticity modulus to the density of the material and the reduction of the string length and cross section. 4. The limitation of the power sensitivity threshold at a given development level serves to find the possibility of producing string transducers for measuring various physical quantities.
