The goal of this study was to examine the effectiveness of Padlet utilization to boost the tenth-grade students' reading skills of recount texts at SMK Pemuda 1 Kesamben Blitar. 24 students from class X-A were involved in the pre-experimental research by using one group pre-test and post-test design. The research procedures covered 3 steps: pre-test, treatments, and post-test. For gaining the data, the researchers utilized tests. Before the test was tested, it was tried out to the same level as the participant to discover the test’s validity and reliability. The data processing in this research used paired sampled T-tests by using SPPS 22. The result revealed that the participants’ reading skills in comprehending recount texts enhanced from pre-test 66.25 to 86.91 in their post-test. In addition, based on paired sample t-test, it was discovered that the Sig. (2-tailed) value was < 0.05. Therefore, we can infer that the utilization of the Padlet application was effective to enhance the tenth-grade students’ reading skills of the recount texts at SMK Pemuda 1 Kesamben Blitar.
