Abstract

Social policy analysis necessarily occurs within a political and ideological perspective. Such a perspective, whether implicit or explicit, will have an important influence on what is studied and how it is viewed. In this paper, the outline of a radical perspective is presented and educational issues involved in developing and presenting the radical view of social policy analysis in a social work curriculum are examined.
