Abstract
Background The article is devoted to the urgent problem of environmental protection from hydrocarbon-containing drilling waste. Aims and Objectives To develop a technology for disposal of drilling waste using a capsulation reagent. Results A method of reagent encapsulation is proposed as a method for utilization of hydrocarbon-containing drilling waste. The optimal formulation of reagent encapsulation, prepared on the basis of technical fat, quicklime and modifiers, has been determined.
