Abstract
In this work different types of causes of degradation of structural materials are studied, and using piezoelectric ceramics, the type, size and distribution of microcracks associated with each degradation process is analyzed. The results are complemented by additional studies (SEM, EDX, mechanical strength, etc.) that allow to relate responses nondestructive analysis we propose together with the actual degree of deterioration of the material.
