Abstract

Tortuous, calcified, and diseased iliac arteries pose a substantial challenge to the delivery and deployment of iliac limbs during endovascular repair of aortic aneurysms (EVAR). The purpose of this study is to review our experience using balloon-expandable covered stents instead of commercially available self-expanding iliac limbs during complex EVAR in patients with unfavorable iliac artery anatomy.
