Abstract
Observing the overcrowding in emergency departments and long wait times in many hospitals, the Intermountain Healthcare health system based in Salt Lake City has established Intermountain Behavioral Health Access Centers to meet the urgent needs of adults in need of psychiatric and crisis care.
