Abstract

The use of educational software is a significant step in expanding the possibilities of interaction of visually impaired students, promoting active participation in the learning process. With this aim, we aimed to promote the scientific knowledge of students with visual deficiencies of elementar school through the use of an audiodorative application, called inclusive science. The research was carried out in two municipal public schools of Juazeiro do Norte, E.E.F Isabel da Luz and E.E.F Ratts Barbosa, both with a visually impaired student in the first year of elementar school. In the accomplishment of the pedagogical interventions two didactic sequences were realized based on the historical-critical pedagogy. The pedagogical practices enabled the development of scientific knowledge of quality, the application promoted a new teaching opportunity, acquiring autonomy, new skills and opportunities for participation of the visually impaired students in the learning process.
