Abstract
In recent times, the selection of suppliers come out as a very important process for any manufacturing or service industry despite the size of the companies. Generally, quality, cost, low-cost production, reliability is used to be the main aim of the companies but the availability of quality items at a pre-specified time in sufficient quantity are the main challenges for the manufacturing industry. To overcome the above challenges, the right supplier selection is foremost. To find a suitable supplier for automobile parts manufacturing company, the TODIM method is applied on eight main criteria. The weight of individual criteria and sub-criteria are calculated with the help of the Entropy method. The final result of this study came in the form of dominance value, which helped to rank the suppliers and name the best one. The dominance value of supplier 5 (S5) is top among the suppliers i.e., −1.7606, and supplier 2 (S2) at the bottom with the dominance value −14.5684. this study also talked about some limitations and future guidance at the end.
