Abstract
Abstract This paper describes the use of the Statistical Analysis System (SAS), a widely-available statistical analysis software package, as an audit software package in a classroom setting. After describing the capabilities of the package as an audit tool, the paper discusses a classroom application and presents an evaluation of the effectiveness and efficiency of the system.
