Abstract

A programmer has implicitly some specification of his program in mind. During debugging he tries to detect deviations from the specification in a program run. In this paper we show how the developer of parallel programs can be supported in this process. We present a temporal logic language based on a formal model for parallel program runs. We also introduce a method how a parallel debugger can check the specification automatically against a program run.
