Abstract

The study aims to demonstrate the impact of demographic variables on the efficiency of technological advancements in developing faculty members' Competencies at Jordanian universities. The descriptive approach was used through a questionnaire with 40 items distributed among 3 areas: the availability of technological innovations in classrooms, the use of technological innovations in the teaching process, and faculty members' competence in using technological innovations to measure effectiveness and its main areas from faculty members' perspective. The results showed that the effectiveness of technological innovations in developing faculty members' competencies at Jordanian universities was medium, with the areas of the questionnaire coming in the following order: faculty members' competence in dealing with technological innovations came first with a high average range, followed by the use of technological innovations in the teaching process with a medium average range.
