Using Stata statistical software and computer linear regression to analyze the factors affecting the wastewater treatment in Hubei Province

Abstract

With the prosperity of China’s industry, the contradiction between industrial economic development and water pollution has become increasingly prominent, which hinders the sustainable development of society. In recent years, Hubei Province has issued a number of policies to vigorously guide industrial wastewater treatment, but the treatment effect is very little. This paper selects the industrial wastewater pollution and treatment in Hubei Province from 2001 to 2020 as an example, and uses the model and multiple linear regression analysis method to study and analyze the factors affecting the industrial wastewater pollution treatment in Hubei Province. The conclusion shows that the improvement of capital, technology and environmental awareness is conducive to promote the benign development of industrial wastewater treatment. Therefore, the government should strengthen overall planning and scientifically make regional targeted governance arrangements; Continue to increase capital investment and guide the implementation of high-tech achievements; Rectify industrial chaos and withdraw from inefficient and heavily polluting enterprises; Optimize regional industrial layout and reasonably match spatial resources.
