Abstract

Modern science of education approached the moment when there was a need to create pedagogical technologies that provide the most important thing in the educational process - the development of the personality of each student, his activity. The main task in Kazakhstan's schools today is the formation of a harmoniously developed personality. The most important indicator of a well-rounded and harmoniously developed personality is the presence of high-level thinking abilities. Based on this, the purpose of this article is a theoretical and practical consideration of the application of problem-based learning technology for the formation of socio-linguistic competence in foreign language lessons.The scientific and practical significance of the work lies in the fact that the article presents practical aspects of the use of problem-based learning technology, provides practical examples of tasks and exercises using problem-based learning technology in foreign language lessons for 9th grade students
