Currently, Ms. Tan is Manager, Loss Prevention/Risk Evaluation at the Risk Management Foundation of the Harvard Medical Institutions, Cambridge, MA. Her former positions include senior associate at InterQual, Inc. and director of utilization review/quality assurance at George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, D. C. Ms. Tan has both published extensively and presented numerous educational programs to a wide variety of professional audiences. Ms. Tan is a member of the American Society of Healthcare Risk Management, where she currently serves on the Index Measures Task Force; NAQAP; the International Quality Assurance Society; and the American Medical Writers Association. Ms. Tan is also an RN.
