Abstract
The high-efficiency oscillating system for welding synthetic fabrics is discussed. It is shown that to increase the productivity of the welding process and reduce the electrical power, it is necessary to use ultrasonic generators self-adjusting with respect to the required oscillation amplitude. The productivity of the processes of ultrasonic welding using piezoceramic and nickel transducers is analysed and the currently available methods of seam welding of synthetic fabrics produced from polymer materials are discussed.
