Abstract

As part of my PhD inquiry, I demonstrated how a group of street children can be encouraged to reflect and talk about their day‐to‐day street experiences through the use of a multiple method mosaic approach. At the heart of all the methods used was the ideological belief of ensuring children’s participation in my research and of hearing their own perspectives on their lives. This paper illustrates my use of the visual method of photographs in order to aid street children’s reflexivity.
