Abstract

Luminol-based bioluminescence imaging allows noninvasive tracking of oxidatively active cells such as neutrophils. Luminol is given intravenously or intraperitoneally, followed by bioluminescence imaging at 425nm. Here we describe a method for tracking neutrophil extravasation into an inflammatory site, especially focusing on mammary carcinoma.
