Abstract
It is not easy to evaluate the effect of group psychotherapies on individuals and to measure the relationship between the changes that occur when the group and the group process ends. Therefore, the aims of this article, published in the Zeitschrift fur Psychodrama und Soziometrie, is to share with readers the evaluation processes of a project, conducted with refugee children in Istanbul and to propose tools for group leaders to use to evaluate the group processes they conduct. It is recommended, that practitioners and researchers should exercise multi-disciplinary thinking and design process monitoring with mixed method design; these views are supported with examples. Short-term outcomes, of the project, in question have been evaluated through triangulation with mixed-method design. The monitoring and evaluation process of the project is rationalized using the Logic Model.
