AbstractWith the advent of the information age, we need to grasp the new trend of economic and social development, seize the opportunity brought by the new round of scientific and Technological Industrial Revolution, use digital technology to promote the digital transformation of manufacturing industry, accelerate the integrated development of industrial chain, value chain, supply chain and innovation chain, optimize industrial ecology, promote industrial organization innovation, and improve enterprise innovation performance. Big data, industrial Internet, artificial intelligence and other digital technologies can directly drive the digital transformation and innovation of manufacturing enterprises, accelerate the R&D and application of digital technology, promote the digital transformation of industries and industrial organizations, build an industrial chain cluster ecosystem, enhance the competitive advantage of enterprises, and enhance the modernization level and independent controllability of industrial chain supply chain, To improve the innovation performance of manufacturing industry. This paper investigates the impact of the development of digital technology in manufacturing industry on the innovation performance of Chinese enterprises theoretically and empirically. The results show that: on the basis of controlling other variables, manufacturing digital transformation can significantly promote innovation performance.
