Abstract

This chapter focuses on how Functional Fluency can support organizational development processes. The first part of the chapter discusses how each of the Golden Five behaviours contribute to the successful process and outcomes of organizational change and development, and how to avoid Purple Pitfall behaviour in others by using effective behaviours as a change leader. The points are well illustrated by mini-case study examples. The second part shows how Functional Fluency complements two other guides to effective change management: Mezirow's transformational change process with its 10 stages of change, and Co-Creative Transactional Analysis which supports present-centred processing, and working in relationship to explore and find solutions to problems. The contribution of the three models working together is explored through an extended case study of an organizational process led by the author.
