Abstract

Abstract Date Presented 04/22/2023 Escape rooms are an increasingly popular, innovative teaching modality in health care education. This study examined an escape room’s effectiveness as a teaching modality for OT students. Both the in-person and online formats significantly improved students’ intraprofessional teamwork and collaboration, professional identity, activity learning, critical thinking skills, and knowledge retention.
