Abstract

Offers advice for using CAT ME micro enhancers to offset costs at a time when OCLC has increased search charges and has lowered the search‐to‐produce ratios. Proposes that searches and cataloguingtasks be performed during non‐primetime periods (before 8.00 am); reveals the advantages of implementing the CAT ME Plus micro enhancer for searches and PRISM for cataloguing as a means to reduce costs.
