Abstract

The goal of this paper is to present the use of boundary scan testing method for high tech industrial equipment - the cargo system controller (CSC) for the Boeing 777 aeroplane. For testing purposes of the (CSC), a station containing a computer equipped with a GPIB controller, an AC and DC power source, digital multimeter, function generator, scope, switch matrix, VXI rack and Tektronix Serial Test Module were used. Both the method and the algorithm used for testing the CSC are presented. This paper also emphasises the advantages obtained due to the use of FPGAs Xilinx 4010 in the testing scheme.
