Abstract

An updated DeLone and McLean Information System (IS) Success Model was applied to assess the success of implementing the ward cleaning logistics system in a medical center in Taiwan. The questionnaire with thirty one questions was designed based on six dimensions of IS Success Model along with nine proposed hypotheses. The results showed that seven out of nine hypotheses were fully supported. Both information quality and user satisfaction were critical dimensions to influence intention to use. Information quality, system quality, and service quality made positive impacts on user satisfaction. Moreover, user satisfaction and intention to use have made significant contributions to net benefits. Therefore, the hospital management needs to pay much attention to information quality and user satisfaction where the former plays a more critical role to both intention to use and user satisfaction and the latter plays a more pivotal role to net benefits.
