Abstract

Bleeding is expected during the removal of large skin tags. To achieve hemostasis in this procedure, epinephrine is commonly injected. However, it requires approximately 10 to 20 minutes to work, which is considered time consuming in busy clinics. Electrocautery is also used to cause thermal damage, which can lead to complications of skin dyspigmentation.
