Abstract

The usefulness of a graphic method in teaching physics is generally known. With it the functional relationship between physical parameters can be visualized, the rate of change of one physical parameter as a function of another can be estimated, and the essence of physical concepts can be explained. Graphic illustrations and exercises are especially fruitful in the upper grades, since by this time the pupils have had sufficient training in mathematics. In particular, the graphic method can be used effectively in studying molecular and heat phenomena in the ninth grade with the new textbook.
