Abstract
This article provides a description of laboratory work in mechanics devoted to determining the coefficient of friction of contacting surfaces. The novelty of this work lies in the fact that the experiment is accompanied by observation of surfaces through a digital microscope. This work is a worthy addition to the park of experimental works of the Physics Department of the Technical University.
