Abstract

Background: In 2006, a new allowance category was added to the Long-term Care Insurance System for preventive care, and the provision of day services to provide such care was initiated in Japan. In order to maintain and improve day service users’ remaining motor function, it is necessary to enhance their adherence to care. However, to the present, the rates of the continuous use of day services specializing in preventive care have rarely been reported.
