Abstract

A collaborative work group that links workers through distributed computers is only as productive as the system itself. Software agents are emerging as a way to boost workers' productivity, performing group tasks independently. The authors use a typical business conference as an example to show how graphical models and agent prototyping empower flexible working environments.
