Abstract

Bibit is one of the most widely used mutual fund investment applications in Indonesia. Many similar applications are available on the market encourages Bibit to keep developing its application to continue to meet user needs in investing in mutual funds. The purpose of this study is to design a new user interface and analyze user experience based on questionnaire distributed to Bibit user. Questionnaire based on 10 Heuristic Evaluation variables, namely Visibility of System Status, Match and between system and the real world, User Control and Freedom, Consistency and Standards, Error prevention, Recognition Rather Than Recall, Flexibility and Efficiency of Use, Aesthetic and Minimalist Design, Help Users Recognize, Diagnose and Recovers from Errors, and Help and Documentation. Then we designed a new user interface recommendation by applying the Heuristic Evaluation method and SEM PLS testing on Smart-PLS tools based on the results of questionnaire data distributed to users of the Bibit application. R Square shows the results of 0.797 (79.7 % ) for Flexibility and Efficiency of Use variable, meaning that it is significantly influenced by Recognition rather than recall and User control and freedom. Furthermore, F Square shows that the Error Prevention variable on Recognition rather than recall gets the smallest value compared to other variables, which is 0.256 (25.6 % ). It means that it is significantly influenced by Recognition rather than recall and User control and freedom. Proposed improvements to the new user interface design, namely the “Home”,”Switch Portfolio”, and “Nabung Rutin” pages.
