Abstract

According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, you are safer on a college campus than you are in your own home. “When violent events occur, they are horrible because they impact someone's children, but they are rare,” said Don Challis, assistant vice president of safety and security at South Dakota State University. He spoke at the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators annual conference.
