Abstract

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The setting of your campus is integral to the atmosphere of your institution and the success of your students. The strong ties your students develop with your campus and the surrounding community can be key to retaining them successfully through graduation. When Monroe Community College, a college associated with the State University of New York System, developed a downtown campus, academic leaders wanted to be sure the setting was a rich and integrated aspect of the campus.
