Abstract

The installation and the use of zero-tension lysimeters to obtain percolates from an experimental septic tile bed are described. These lysimeters are inexpensive and easy to install. They have considerable potential for use in many investigations where the systems are constructed in shallow depths above the water table. A summary of the results of the study is also presented.
