Abstract

The authors describe modifications to a conventional SQUID voltmeter involving the use of YBCO wires in the superconducting potentiometer circuit. This modification allows measurements to be made of voltages across samples at temperatures well above the 8K limit set by the transition temperature of the original superconducting wires.
