Abstract

The use of the Orbita apparatus for correction of prolonged disorders of peripheral tissue perfusion is discussed. Peripheral perfusion was simulated using long-term immobilization stress. Exposure to electromagnetic radiation of the Orbita apparatus at nitrogen oxide emission and absorption frequencies 150, 176–150, and 664 GHz was shown to restore tissue perfusion in laboratory animals subjected to immobilization stress. The nitrogen oxide absorption electromagnetic radiation of such frequencies induces complete recovery of perfusion index and partial restoration of blood microcirculation. Exposure to the Orbita radiation stimulates basal and induced nitrogen oxide production. This reduces capillary resistance and increases microcirculation rate. The results obtained in this work provide a methodological basis for clinical use of the Orbita apparatus.
