Abstract
Liquid biopsies are under intense investigation for real-time monitoring of patients with cancer. This lecture will focus on analysis of circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA) and CTCs in blood. Examples will include detection of minimal residual disease and monitoring emergence of resistance to endocrine therapies in patients with breast cancer as well approaches used in other common cancers including non-small cell lung cancer.
