Abstract
The goal of this talk is to review the clinical application of Sonographic Elastography in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care. Applications involving sonographic elastography initiated in areas outside of acute care medicine, but emerging research has shown novel clinical uses that benefit patients in the ED and ICU. We will cover topics ranging from limited abdominal applications to acute musculoskeletal injuries and soft tissue infections. From plantar fasciitis to skin abscesses.
