Abstract
Two types of smokeless tobacco are popular among baseball players today: moist snuff, commonly referred to as "dip," and chewing tobacco. Snuff is a finely ground, processed tobacco product that is placed between the cheek and gum. Chewing tobacco is cut or compressed tobacco leaf that is sold loose or as a solid plug.
