Abstract

In our study, the mean orthogonal astigmatism powers arising from the posterior cornea, anterior lens, and posterior lens are −0.21D, +0.05D, and −0.53D respectively. The ratio of posterior to anterior radii is lower vertically either in with-the-rule or against-the-rule corneal astigmatism. In with-the-rule corneal astigmatism, it had the effect of reducing corneal astigmatism by a greater amount than would have arisen had the ratio been the same.
