Abstract
Methods for investigation of arsenic and niobium distribution between iron and slag by means of radioactive isotopes of these elements (As 76 and Nb 95) are studied. Special emphasis is placed on the technique used for the removal of radioactive admixtures and for the identification of radioactive isotopes. Thermodynamic data characteristic of the oxidation of arsenic and niobium dissolved in liquid iron are given.
